So there has been an interesting trend lately in Harare or Zimbabwe of married men claiming thousands of dollars for damages from the alleged boyfriends of their alleged cheating wives. What shocks me is how these men come up with these exorbitant amounts considering that some of them dont even pay lobola of $10 000. Get me right am not advocating more more lobola, am just wondering how these married men think they deserve that much amount of money, based on what? what for? when a woman marries do they become a property of a husband such that one can claim such sums of money? How many women whose husbands are cheating are claiming such amounts of money from each other?? Just puzzled!
