So....this Thanksgiving, my best Labrador Mama had a litter of 7 pups, then she went into labor again 24 hours later and ended up with a pup stuck and 6 hours later she had an emergency c section and had to be spayed as her uterus could not be salvaged. Also, I sold my mare, my baby.. and no longer have a horse to ride. Hmmm...I am thankful. I am thankful that my best Labrador Mama is alive. I am thankful she has 7 healthy pups. I am thankful that I found an incredible home for my Mare who is like a child to me. I am thankful that she will be loved and cared for and given more attention then i can give. I am thankful that I had my brother and sister here for thanksgiving and that we could share so much incredible hard and wonderful times together and spend time healing each other with such love. I am thankful that my brother Chris is going to take my sweet Annibell when she weans her pups and they go home, so she can be his only and she will be loved like no other. In these times where I could easily look at the bad things that have happened, I choose to see the good and I choose to be Thankful. I hope you all had as good of a Thanksgiving as I did!
