So this morning i decided to forgo my morning walk in favor of a quick nap before class...however my 4legged trainer..had other plans...he first refused to let me in the house blocking my path..then took off in his ackward teenage big dog run straight to the Garrison CSM (head honchos right hand man, for my non military folks) proceeds to pee on every bush in his yard. I think yes Ive got him now(still held out hope for the nap) The PIA takes off again into the woodline.(seriously could he not stick to the sidewalk?) And its there I lose site of him, so I follow the sounds of the other dogs, I cant help but wonder if the neighborhood mutts are cheering him on or ratting him out. After about 20 min of dashing here and there I realize I have to abandon my search.(and my nap) inorder to make it to class. As I walk another 7 to 10 min home Im torn between 3 emotions..fear, I love my dumb dog dont want to loose him. Anger, Why did he just have to go for a run? And sorrow...for the loss of my precious nap. As I turn onto my street who should happen to be sitting by the front door wagging his tail? Well played dog well played, for those who wish to visit our darling dog, Hercules he now resides at the local korean buffet, while there I recommend the beef special.
