So this was how our first day of school went ... Everyone up early, ate fine, we were ahead of schedule for once! Did obligatory pix out front of house. Then 3rd grade drop-off for Evan was uneventful; he went in solo (*sniff*) just fine. Then we headed to middle school about 8:15 where Austin walked up in the crazy crowd of kids solo (*sniff* middle school ALREADY?! *sniff*). By 10:30, the middle school nurse was calling ... and Austin was super sick. Nothing like getting sick in 2nd period to make the first day of middle school wickedly memorable! Poor kid!!!
