So today I finally decide its time for a new phone - Ive had this one for at least three years; the front screen is pixilated & the battery dies after 2 calls. So I zip in to my friendly neighborhood Verizon store to see what my free upgrade will get me...and, you know how you just know when you see the sales person that its not going to be a good experience? I dont want a smartphone - just wanted a flip phone w/ a slide-out keyboard...but they dont have any in stock. My choices: pay $129 ...the free upgrade cost! for a new flip phone, or get a smart phone which w/ the rebate is free. So this customer service person says - those are the choices - you know, phone prices have really increased.....but I can get the smartphone for free........I still have my old phone :(
