So today I got off work and had time to get some prices in a new chain and sprocket change and to get a a full service done on the bike. I also talked to a fellow ZZR1200 owner. He has an 04 siver/blue. We talked about some of the problems we both have had and what we have learned to fix them. Most of the problem I am having is common with my bike. We found out that the miss fire that was going on the bike was do to low idle and i was burning rich the idler screw not working. Well when I got it was time to get started found out it was easy to get the tank off but I found a lot of things wrong and had to move a few things. Did a quick check of the carbs and air filter. The carbs are nice and shiny and 2nd airy butterflies are working as they should. The air filter is still good and clean. Oil change is coming up in 1000 miles so at that I will be at 6000 mile on the bike since Feb when i got the bike and the bike will be at 24k miles. I do need to tighten my chain. If anyone can help me and show me how to do that. I would appreciate it. Thank you in advance. After all I did today on the bike. Trigger is running strong and not acting sluggish
