So today in Biology lab, we got to observe termites. It sounded REALLY boring but they had us draw ink trails and the little gal actually followed the trail. I kinda felt bad because we made a figure 8 and she just kept following it around and around. We also observed that it liked Bic brand the most, especially the black ink. Turns out the ink is closest of all the inks we had to their natural pheromones and it is their instinct to follow trails of that stuff. The little girl despised pencil led and always ran away from it. You know you are a science geek when things like that keep you entertained. The little girl wasnt even all that gross o.o PS. I know it is a girl because they told us and male termites dont work. They are like bees in this way.
