So we are in Wendys near two universities and we are overhearing a college girl go through an interview of some sorts with a couple who we think might run a campus ministry.... So much terminology, ministry-specific vocabulary, churchy tone of voice. Wow. I pegged them for college ministry people immediately. Having lots of flash backs and mixed feelings and and and. Having been out of that realm for awhile I am now, more than EVER aware of how people that did not grow up in church could think its all a little cheesy/inauthentic/closed to newcomers/out of touch/judgey.* *not all groups Ive been a part of or that you are apart of are necessarily this way. I am just speaking from my own experience. Which is my. Own. Experience. :)
