So we had an interesting day riding the subways of the LA area. My wife said, lets take the subway and go see the floats in Pasadena. She told me they were open till 5:00 pm. So we took the red line to Union Station and took the gold line to Pasadena where we arrived at about 3:45 We boarded the shuttle to the park and then we were told they were closed. What my wife forgot to notice was that although they are open until 5, you could only buy a ticket at the door till 3. We then turned around and came home. The highlight of the day was overpaying for Starbucks at Union Station on the way home :-). Somehow being in Brazil with Sarah sounds like it would have been a lot more fun :-)
