So we have this Old School 95.9 radio station in Oxnard. Driving in my car, this tune comes up. As a musician, something clicked in my head and everything came flooding back. I got that holy shit! this is that song I didnt realize influenced my musical tastes wave rushing over me. Funny side note, I always thought it was a man singing this tune... haha i was a stupid kid with no internet and a radio tuned into 1980s Freestyle music 24/7 in my room as I either played with my G.I. Joes or my Tandy TRS-80 CoCo II #thanks1980sdancemusicforbeingmysoundtrack
