So what did I think about the movie Noah? I think you should save your money. I understood this movie was not going to be a biblical re-telling of the Noah story but some of this stuff was straight up ridiculous. I think its funny that the people who made this movie and endorse it claim it was simply inspired by the biblical story but the essence of the story is still here. Because what I got from this movie is that God is anti-mankind and that the only reason man survives is because Noah decides to defy what he believes the Creator wanted him to do. They lost me from the beginning when God...I mean...the Creator is going to cast out Adam and Eve and some angels decide they are going to try and protect them from the Creator so they are punished for trying to help by being covered in tar to extinguish their light and they become this giant rock monsters called Watchers. It pretty much goes downhill from here. These Watchers eventually help Noah build the ark and hold off the army trying to seize it when it begins to rain. Ridiculous, I know!! It felt like a long PETA commercial. Noah and his family only eat veggies and cant even pick a flower because they only take what the need which makes them good. Everyone else is evil not because they disobey God but because they cut down trees and feast on animals. They are shown to rip an animal apart while its alive and eat it raw. This save the animals because they are innocent and all mankind needs to die mentality continues when Noah refuses to find wives for his two youngest sons and allows Shems wife because she is thought to be barren. He does not try to kill them but simply plans on them all dying off eventually with no women to bare children. Therefore, leaving the world protected from the wicked man. Theres a lot more but I think you get the gist of it. If youre a tree hugging, baby seal loving, all meat eaters must die kind of person youll probably enjoy this movie
