So, what exactly runs through the minds of the Ghana Investment Promotion Council to waste taxpayer money to run around taking photos with foreign businesses under the pretext of enticing them to come here to invest only to assemble an array thieving laws called "Investment Promotion". The GIPC is the one entity that is killing off INVESTMENT, not the Supreme Court petition. I think the GIPC should be shut down now!!!! Read the below and tell me why we need a GIPC: I just sit in my new office of our Accra company (Lombardium Accra Ltd.) and am a bit desperate. Our main company was doing re-financing of gold trade in Germany. In several months we established interesting business contacts in Ghana. We founded this company. Now we even put 300,000 US-Dollars on our Accra bank account. But first, the problems grow, and week after week passes without our starting the business - and now comes the crucial information that a new law is coming which will force us to put 1,000,000 US-Dollars here and even give 30 % of it to a Ghanaian partner. But there is no such partner in sight. Would you recommend to just close down and return to Europe learning the lesson that there ist no way of doing business in Ghana?
