So when you wake up today many of you along with me will not vote. Its the midterm elections and the GOP is about to take control of congress (already had it) and the senate. This being the case lets talk about something truthfully. Why have the Democrats simply not run on Obamas record? So many GOP Claim this country stinks because of where Obama is taking it. FOR THE RECORD OBAMA HAS LET US DOWN IN SO MANY WAYS. I am not advocating for Obama I am advocating for the truth... I sit and watch so many GOP lovers simply voting for their candidate as usual based off personal problems. The other day I had a woman say that the ACA was a failure because her cost went up. Meanwhile article after article is out that the ACA is hugely successful for a lot of people. More people are covered under the ACA. While many people have seen cost go up a lot more have seen cost go down. The immediate argument is one of selfish gains and losses. Well Im laying more so that is all that matters. REALLY? Staved off Recession Better job Market (President cant create jobs though) Budget Deficit lowest ever ACA working Lower gas prices (although the President cant really effect this, Just ask fox news) These are all accomplishments under the President that so many people seem to be running from. What has the GOP accomplished under Obama? They shutdown the govt costing the american people 24 billion dollars. They continue to tell women what to do with their bodies. They dont believe in equal pay. They call themselves patriots while alienating anyone without money. Both parties have their pockets lined up with Corporate sponsors. I believe you should vote if even you dont like both candidates, compare the two and vote. People can not like Obama for a lot of reasons personal and policy. However when I look at the tale of the tape and read articles that the GOP lovers put out (slanted media) I know to vote for Dem or Ind vs the GOP. The GOP intentionally puts out article after article trying to convince people how bad Obama is for America. SADLY THE OLD WHITE MALE US ONLY ALL ELSE CAN FAIL MENTALITY IS WHATS BAD FOR AMERICA. ITS 2014 AND WHILE OBAMA IS NOT THE BEST MAN IN OFFICE, ILL SOONER VOTE FOR HIM, VS SOME ASSHOLE WHO WANTS TO SELL OFF AMERICA TO OTHER COUNTRIES IN THE NAME OF CAPITALISM.
