So yesterday, a question was asked about bringing back the cruiserweight title. Now knowing myself, I was thinking HELLZ YEAH at the time. But then I got to thinking. That division had stars back in the day. Rey Mysterio, Chavo, Eddie, Gregory Helms, London and Kendrick, etc. But now, there arent too many people that could define that division. Well, you have guys like Kingston, Kidd, Gabriel, Stardust, Bryan (if he ever comes back), Jericho (whenever he comes back), Ziggler, Miz, Los Matadores, etc. Those names dont include the potential NXT talent that could come up, including the NXT 5 (except Steen, I think). Now, I ask myself and you, would the division matter if it comes back? Would WWE care to put emphasis on the proverbial little guy? Also, would they need to drop a belt to bring this division back? I would like for them to retire the US Title. Its a pointless title at this point. Barely defended, and it seems as if they just toss it around on a random superstar at this point. Personally, the IC Title is hot right now and always has been. Merge the titles and drop the US belt.
