So, yesterday while out on an evening ride, me and my horse Máni - TopicsExpress

So, yesterday while out on an evening ride, me and my horse Máni had an argument regarding preferred speed and direction. The argument ended in a draw so we did a sharp right turn in full gallop, then stopped. Unfortunately I lost my balance in the 4G turn and went over the side and landed, left hip first, in a stone fence. Nothing is broken (as far as I can tell) but it hurts like hell and it is just a week to the mounted archery competition in Biga. Should I: 1. Reconsider stamp collecting. 2. Act like a man, ignore the pain and continue mounted archery training as planned. 3. Act like a sissy, load myself with painkillers, THEN continue the training as planned. 4. See the opportunity to start training Máni in flying pace, going for the world record at 7s/100m. Straight track, no fear. 5. Get a Kamikaze bandana to wear while riding Máni, just to get in the right mood. Please advice.
