The Social Media Specialist will create and edit content for different social platforms. Responsibilities: * Manage social media campaigns and daily activities, including online advocacy, promotions, outreach efforts and writing blogs and editorial copy * Manage the companys many blogs, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ platforms, etc. * Analyze, review and report on the effectiveness of the campaigns and provide feedback to the team * Make suggestions of new social media trends, tools and applications to further elevate the companys digital marketing efforts and drive traffic * Engage in dialogues and answering questions as well as prompting positive dialogue about the company and brands * Communicate with the internal design teams and marketing department The right person will be a creative thinker with strong communication skills and at least 3 years of experience in Digital Marketing, PR or Social Media. Knowledge of HTML, WordPress, Photoshop, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Excel, Word and the principles of SEO highly preferred. Experience with social media for consumer products is a bonus!
