Sold a car last week. buyer sent $500 deposit. He dicked around for a week after that saying the money was being transferred, then only part of the payment was available, then the bank was closed, then finally said he ordered transfer but they would be processing it the next business day, Monday. Then first thing Monday he cancels transfer, cancels purchase, says something came up, and after 9 days wants his deposit back. Soooo, here is an idea. Dont buy a car unless you have the cash readily available and youre Mommy says its okay.
