Some Progress and Some Changes The USFS Heritage representative was up in Big Bear yesterday, and she liked what she saw on the proposed Eastern Skyline Trail. The papers should be signed this coming week and then the Mountains Foundation Work Crew will START BUILDING TRAIL. The Trails Foundation will follow up with a volunteer work day May 10th at 9am to keep the momentum going on new singletrack in Big Bear. Also, the interim USFS district ranger, Sarah Tomsky, headed out of Big Bear yesterday. Well have another 120 day acting district ranger, Marc Stamer, heading up our local rangers until a full time replacement has been chosen.
