That is very true, God is merciful and He has not condemn you to hell, but the problem here is that God has not condemn you, but you are often the one that condemns yourself by virtue of your choice of decisions. Joh 3:17-18 MSG (17) God didnt go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. (18) Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Because of that persons failure to believe in the one-of-a-kind Son of God when introduced to him. God has left you with a choice. He has given you the power to decide as a free moral entity. Your decisions eventually determine the outcome. This is why we read and study God’s word regularly, to help us make the right decisions in relationships, life and marriage. 2. God is too far away to be concerned about what I do here on earth. Col 1:16 MSG For everything, absolutely everything, above and below, visible and invisible, rank after rank after rank of angels--everything got started in him and finds its purpose in him. God is not too far away. He is so near you that you will be surprised. Rom 10:8 MSG So what exactly was Moses saying? The word that saves is right here, as near as the tongue in your mouth, as close as the heart in your chest. Its the word of faith that welcomes God to go to work and set things right for us. This is the core of our preaching. God is as near you as the words of your mouth. The words of your mouth will either release faith or fear. You will either welcome God into your life with your words or give the devil access with your words. God is very concerned about every details of your life. He is interested in how you live and how your marriage turns out. He will guide, protect, shield and surround you with His love when you allow Him. 3. I can ‘enjoy’ myself and sleep around and then come back to serve God in my latter years. The loving God will forgive me. Gal 6:7-8 MSG (7) Dont be misled: No one makes a fool of God. What a person plants, he will harvest. The person who plants selfishness, ignoring the needs of others--ignoring God!-- (8) harvests a crop of weeds. All hell have to show for his life is weeds! But the one who plants in response to God, letting Gods Spirit do the growth work in him, harvests a crop of real life, eternal life. It doesn’t work like that because you cannot outsmart God or corner God with your ‘plans’ The best you can do is to cooperate with God and follow His principles. Every thing you do is a seed into your future. 4. I have done so many things wrong and have gone too far. God will never forgive me and my life can’t be good again. It is too late. In God, it is never too late. It is not about what you have done or didn’t do, it is about your decision to repent genuinely and accept the Lord Jesus into your life as your personal Lord and savior. 2Co 5:17 MSG Now we look inside, and what we see is that anyone united with the Messiah gets a fresh start, is created new. The old life is gone; a new life burgeons! Look at it! When you are genuinely united with God, God will give you a fresh start! He will give you a new beginning. He will make all things new. 5. All I need to do is to attend church services once in a while. I don’t need to be a religious freak of fanatic. Attending church services does nothing to you other than to help pacify your conscience but in reality, the life of a believer transcends just going to church, it is a deep, deliberate, conscious relationship with God as a father. 6. Since I am born again, it is okay; I don’t need all this speaking in tongues stuff. I can’t be speaking a weird language I don’t understand The problem is that you are fighting a devil you cannot see! Every believer has been configured to survive and have constant victory by the help of the Holy Spirit. Baptism in the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in tongues is a must for every believer. The Holy Spirit is the one that will help you to overcome sin. He is the one that will help you to pray without praying amiss. He is the one that will help you in your infirmities. He is the one that will bring into your remembrance all that Jesus has said. He is the one that will guide, inform and lead. He is the one that will show you your wife so easily. He is the one that will show you your husband even before the guy shows up. He is the one that will help keep that relationship together by giving you divine wisdom. He is the one that helps you as a wife to submit to your husband.He is the one that helps you as the head of the house to truly love your wife and lead your family. He is the one that will build the home of your life! Jud 1:20 AMP But you, beloved, build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith [make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], praying in the Holy Spirit; CONFESSION FOR THE DAY I will be obedient to God PRAYER FOR THE DAY Pray that God help by His Spirit to make right decisions THOUGHT FOR THE DAY Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.
