Some friends have asked me about Wizard of Oz and the Community Theater of Greensboro. Ill take this opportunity to let folks know that CTG is a non-profit and operates on a thin budget. They have just finished a successful capital campaign which, as anyone that has ever been involved in fundraising knows, makes coinciding annual fund raising that much more challenging. CTG needs all the support they can get. Ticket sales, fundraisers or donations (of any level); volunteering for cast, crew, costumes, music, teaching classes; or any other means of support, all help to keep this 64 year old organization going strong. Its amazing how much they do each year beyond just putting on shows. Check out the website. BTW, there are 200+ people involved in the show each year, 8 performances at the Carolina Theater and some incredible talent these folks bring to the stage. Come check it out!!!
