Some leftover moisture from the tropical wave is now moving west - TopicsExpress

Some leftover moisture from the tropical wave is now moving west as drier air invades the upper atmosphere from the east. High pressure will fill in across Texas over the next few days as it moves from the Mississippi River to the desert southwest. This will bring a more stable atmosphere to Texas with plenty of sunshine and the return of 100+ degrees. So far this year, Austin-Mabry has recorded 33 days of the triple digit heat while the Austin-Airport has only recorded 31 days.
