Some pages follow a simple strategy. Whenever they see their reach and likes falling, they go a little extreme with their posts. A very effective way of increasing reach is by dividing people into groups, like Hindus and Muslims. This polarises people strongly, and ensures lots of comments from both sides. Sadly, such tactics do work, and people allow themselves to be polarised. This is worrying, because if a powerless Facebook page can polarise people this way, imagine what a powerful politician can do. Oh, and about us? Well, when we see our reach falling, we up the unity oriented posts. That helps. One such post would be the Quran-Saraswati Maa nanotale. So yes, at the expense of being labelled sickulars, we love the ideals of mutual respect, unity and co-existence. ~ Abhijit
