Robin and Brook have been trading insults all week in anticipation for their face-off Saturday at the Moda Center. Its apparent theyre still not used to facing each other. Brook was asked to explain the difference between him and Robin in an interview with the New York Post. Robins an idiot, Brook said. Yeah, yeah... Robins a complete moron. According to Comcast Sportsnet, Robin shrugged it off by saying thats the best [Brook] can come up with. Then he fired back with his own jab about his brother being out for as long as he was. Its no surprise that they held him out as long as they did last year, Robin said. Im sure people were just sick of traveling and being around him. So, they probably didnt want him around the team or anything. From there Robin didnt let up. I dont think hes too concerned with basketball, Robin said. I think hes a little more concerned that hes not the best looking Lopez. Thats something that would bother him. I usually let my game do the talking. If anything, I just have to warn him not to come to the [Moda Center]. Just dont even bother stepping foot in there because its going to be an embarrassment from start to finish. If that didnt intimidate Brook enough, Robin made it personal. My moms already rooting for me. Burn.
