Some years back, England had big problems with hooliganism at football matches. The levels of English hooliganism were even worse when English teams were playing away matches, at some point two English fans were stabbed to death by Galatasaray fans. And then came the battle of Copenhagen in 2000 where English fans stormed Copenhagen partly to avenge the Galatasaray stabbings in what was the peak of football hooliganism in Western Europe. As levels of hooliganism continued, the British Police decided to act, part of the action was to vet which English fans were travelling abroad for football matches. In this, they looked at a fans background including profession and employment position. They decided that all those with jobs related to carpentry and such will be vetted even more strongly while the lawyers, doctors, engineers and other such professionals got clear passes without much ado. BIG MISTAKE ! The levels of hooliganism remained or even got worse. it was then realised that the real culprits are not the carpenters etc, but the so called proffessionals, the doctors, lawyers, engineers etc. The manner in which my top notch Professional friends Wanyama Don Innocent and Ibrahim support Liverpool and Chelsea respectively reminds me of this hitherto English football hooliganism except that it is now being manifested on facebook, for how can, especially Don, suggest that Man Us win against Bayern tonight will be the helm of todays fools day ? Banange, ffe aba Man U, ono omwana Don atwagaza ki ? has he forgotten the Champions League finals of 1999 ? Gwe Don ! Ngenda kukola ekintu !!!
