Somebody said that I go over board with Lulu and that a Facebook page for her is one thing that is over board! Well Id like this person to know that I advocate for Lulu forever... And a Facebook page to help spread awareness about Down Syndrome isnt going over board. Im very proud of Lulu and her accomplishments! Lets face it.... She isnt typical... She will face many road blocks throughout her life that my typical kids wont. She already has! What are her chances in going to college and becoming a doctor, lawyer, or even an accountant?...chances in getting married?... Starting a family of her own?... Driving a car?... Im not saying that any of this is impossible but most unlikely! I know when shes older and all my other kids have grown up and started families of their own, I will have Lulu... Shes going to love to look at her Facebook page her mom started for her when she was little... Shes going to love reading all the great things people have commented on her accomplishments and her pics! Im sorry if it bothers you that I go overboard with Lulu... But wouldnt you do the same for your child in my same situation? I love Lulu and all her DS family and spreading awareness of any syndrome, disease or any struggles people face is making a better place for us all! Down Syndrome is ok and Lulu is ok and Im happy that I have this resource called Facebook! We love all of Lulus fans and thank you all for being a part of our lives! ❤️❤️❤️
