Someday we will be the ones to forever change the political arena. Someday they will have to use words like tripartisan, multi-party, which should already be in use. All too often in news reporting, the media uses these words to describe the parties working together, yet Bipartisanship implies only two entities, when there are more represented within the houses of our US congress. This was found on Wikipedia Political Parties House of Representatives Senate Democratic Party 200 53 Republican Party 234 45 Independent 1 2 Vacant 1 0 Im going to guess the alignment I attempted to create above will go all askew once I hit post so without all the attempted alignment I tried, the point I wanted to share is there are 3 independent representative within the combined congress, yet apparently they cant reach across an aisle which again implies one on one side one on the other side and no room for a third anyone to reach across to. We citizens have to put an end to this mentality, we have to stop trusting along party lines, simply because there is no line any longer, one side is just another version of side A. The challenge is breaking this misnomer that the only individuals worth voting for are only found within the two parties. All too often these independent parties are depicted as wing nuts or are too far out in left field and it doesnt help that there are indeed some radical thinkers out there, but for media to be fair and provide unbiased reporting..... There is where the problem begins, simply because they media is owned by staunch supporters of wait for it one party or the other. Where is the media group owned by the Libertarians, or the Green party? The Pot Party, we have no media group for us. And that is why we are stuck with the status quo and words like BIPARTISAN. The ones with the loudest voice are the only ones being heard and that is really sad for the people of this world. No, not just the USA here, but all those tiny voices around the world who dont get a pulpit to stand upon, those who cant bring their message into your living room. The people like you and I who have no outlet to reach people like ourselves who want more than 2 choices. This has to change. SMT ALL 50
