Someone I love (no name mentioned), spilled his coffee into my laptop. Though I have backed up the manuscript of my current project, the edited copy was not yet backed on thumb drive. My son and computer tech told me to refrain from redoing it because he might be able to recover the hard drive. I went several weeks on hold. I dont do holding patterns well.
