Someone asked me once about my FB writings, Why do you always mention grandma? and who is your grandma that gives you advise? I said my grandma is deep within me, that voice that gives me reason and knowledge of peace and harmony. Grandma is the one who sits by me when I meditate and dream my visions into existence, she is my holy power, that sacred voice that shows one the reason to live and prosper for each other. She is that voice that comes with morning dawn, that lil bird sings that special song outside your window. She is the beautiful colors one sees in the holy rainbow. She is the one who makes my tears fall when I think of the great beauty of my ancestors fight for survive. She is the one who brings me peace and spiritual protection. Grandma is the blessed spirit of my heart and soul that shows me reality of compassion and love. My grandma is what gives me peace of heart and mind. Her touch is the beautiful dreams I have, its in all the wondrous thoughts of hozho. This is who I speak of when I say my grandma My grandma is all of my direct ancestor grandmothers rolled into one holy source of healing sustenance and fortitude. I am what my mother is and what my mother was....her grandmothers of the sacred past who raised prophets, healers, peacemakers, and philosophers. Listen to that old voice within and you will clearly hear that voice of reason of hope, faith and love....grandmas voice. Now, grandpa is another story!! LOL.
