Someone explained privilege so perfectly on another post lol I had too. I just dont understand how people can easily disregard peoples experience and struggle because they dont experience it. You have a collective group of people telling you that theres something wrong but yet you try and invalidate those experiences by finding and searching for loop holes. Im not a woman but I understand that I live in a patriarchal society that benefits men. When women tell me their struggle collectively I dont try and discredit their experience but listen and try to gain an understanding because at the end of the day, I will never understand how it is to be a woman. Its the respect of understanding theres a struggle I cannot identify with and taking my time to listen and show empathy. That way I try to unlearn these society trained biases and become a better person.
