Someone needs this The most important information a person should posses is the knowledge of his usefulness. Sitted deep inside you is the seed of greatness. You have been wired with great potentials to fulfil destiny. The fact that you are still alive is a proof that your contribution is needed in this world. Never you think that you are just an ordinary person. If you truly understand your worth you would give NO one the permission to look down of you or to make you feel inferior. Few weeks ago I heard of a young undergraduate from Maritime Academy, Oron who committed suicide just because he got jilted by his girlfriend. If this guy understood hispotential he would never have to kill himself simply because somebody said NO to him. Listen to me, REJECTION is NOT fatal. IT IS SIMPLY SOMEONES OPINION. The fact that someone says NO to you doesnt mean that no one will ever say YES to you. Infact, the quicker you forget those who reject you and move ahead with a smile, the faster you will get to meet and attract those who will say YES to you. I remember once I stopped by a shop to buy a pair of shoes, the shop owner quickly brought me a green wedge and thought I will buy it. Though the shoe was my size. I didnt like it....I finally paid for another shoe that appeals to my taste. But do you that, the following day while passing by that same shop I noticed that the green shoe was no more there. Someone else had paid for it. To that person, she has just purchased a new treasure. The fact that I didnt like the shoe couldnt change that. There is always someone who likes you, yes, just the way you are. Meanwhile my mind also wandered into deep thoughts igniting some serious questions like what church was this guy attending? And what kind of message does the pastor preach? Who are his parents and what values and impact did they raise him with? I remember the instruction in Proverbs 22:6 train up a child in the way he should go.... I guess you know the rest. And the next question is who were his friends in school? What values do they uphold? Get this straight. Association is powerful. Especially out there in the campuses. There is no neutral friend. They either build you or ruin you. Next, what books was he reading outside his classroom materials. Information brings reformation. Great people read books that will sharpen their mind and reposition their thinking to unleash the best life. Your life is a relection of the quality of information you gather and appropriate. One of the best books I will recommend that will help you discover your true worth and build your self-esteem is titled understanding your potential by Dr. Myles Munroe. Another is titled Junk is in the eyes of the beholder. Ofcourse, this one is proudly authored by me. Now back to business. Never you allow peoples opinion determine the direction of your life. You need to stay in charge and determine the flow in line with Gods word. Meanwhile, as a final note. I will love to say this; You cannot go with everybody. As harsh as it seems , there are some people you must learn to say NO to without feeling sorry. If someone is not contributing positively to your life and destiny, drop them. I call this kind of people dead weight. They will drown you. Sorround yourself with some globally minded people and set yourself on the path to greatness. I believe in your dreams. *Grace!*
