Someone reminded me this year is the 30th anniversary of Voltron. Wow... 1984 was a pretty good year for geeks and music fans it seems and damn has time gone by... Well, many of us loved this show when it first debuted and we still have our fond memories of the theme and big battles. Although another version involving 15 vehicles would turn out to be a better show (Yes I said it!!!!), the one with the lions based on Golion King of the Beasts remains one of the most popular testaments of 80s pop culture thanks to the folks at St. Louis based (shameless city plug) World Events Productions, as well as Toei Animation, heres to Voltron Defender of the Universe as the Saturday Anime Classic.
