Something I wrote about the aspiration to be wise. Give it a read. :) Admitting you know nothing is necessary when in the pursuit of wisdom. Having confidence in your ability to learn is one thing, but claiming to be wise can be a sign of ignorance. When you begin to believe that you hold all the right answers in your head, you close your mind to the knowledge to be gained around you. Your arrogance could even constrict you into a sub-reality. In this world you may be the ruler, but you are the people and the prisoners too. Do not hide, fearful, in a sanctuary. Step out of comfort and dive into the waters of freedom and possibility. Absorb the rays of life and fill your cup with the offerings around you. There is no shortage of lessons to be learned. But realize, even when you get to the point where it seems your knowledge is vast, in the grand scheme of things… You still know nothing.
