Something else from yesterday...Robin Williams has left us. Sorry to say. Looking through the feed, Im seeing that so many had taken him for granted as a comedian. Looking at his body of work, its actually easy to see why. One Hour Photo and Insomnia (W Al Pacino!) are 2 of the best Suspense films from the Millennial period... And any Drama he went near was exceptional. Dead Poets Society, Good Will Hunting, Jakob The Liar, Moscow On The Hudson... The Final Cut is a must see if you like Sci-Fi. Night At The Museum, even Popeye, and of course Jumanji illustrate his comedic genius best for me. What I suppose Ive admired the most was his balance of roles over the years. Suicide is a shame, prevention is a gift we can all give to another. Please take a moment to realize that that difficult person in your life, or someone youve known that youve been watching spiral down, may need some help and understanding, compassion as opposed to being pushed away...
