Sometimes I think we all see this and forget there are people who need this blood desperately. My Dad had 8 pints ordered for him the night he died. He never got to use one of those pints sadly but he was a rare blood group, and a man who had donated tens of pints of blood in his lifetime to help others in their fight for life.
