Sometimes i ask myself how comes God in the old testament moved very strict and prompt with the Israelites, but under the new covenant we see an amazing explosion of Gods beautiful grace and love towards us?!? Through my reading i have understood that God needed to get the Israelites to where they needed to be because it was through the lineage of the Israelites that the Messiah Yeshua would come! So there was NO room for slackness or disobedience.. God wanted his grace to be shown to the WHOLE world through his son Yeshua.. Even though the Jews would reject Yeshua Gods will still needed to come to pass!
