Sometimes its hard to put the right words together to get these things started- but not this time. Life really sucks. In this world there is an abundance of senseless pain and hate, little babies go to sleep at night with no food and everyone knows but no one can help. Everyones all grown up and Captain Planet isnt here to hold our hands through these global crises- so were lost. Politics tear apart nations and money to buy things like food and clothing are considered a blessing. People get sick. Nothing really makes sense sometimes, especially when you suffer a loss and become forced to realize that things like death are just a part of living- Sometimes it seems so hard to find something to be thankful for. Thanksgiving is a great time to remember and count our blessings, but it shouldnt be a time of forgetting the struggles others may be facing.... A time to celebrate the perseverance of righteousness and joy in spite of deprivation and sin. Thank God for this opportunity to live life and feel loved. I am thankful for every single teeny tiny moment in my life, even those that may have been less than desirable because I know that without those pains, and without the struggle- everything could have been different, and Im quite happy with my life as it is today. I love my two beautiful babies which are the greatest blessing anyone could ever receive. I love my fiance, who is very good to me and our children. I am becoming closer to my mother and strengthening my relationship with her. I have my grandmother another year, and each Holiday with her becomes more precious than the last. I love that I have my own little family. Im thankful to be here in spite of all difficulties in life because... well... Its better than the alternative =) Happy Thanksgiving.
