Sometimes its the little things that stress me out the most. With Zacharys tongue, I worry about things like....how bad will kids tease him when hes a little older?...how will he kiss a girl? etc... Tonight was another. Instrument evaluation night at his new intermediate school. Marc and I have always said that we will let Z try anything he chooses. He really wanted to try band. I knew a woodwind was probably out of the question. I asked Marc if he talked to the band director about his defect. Marc said Z was so excited and the band director was so complementary, that he just couldnt do it. So, we are putting aside what the future holds and encouraging our son to be a kid....to try new things...and be proud of who he is. Zachary Berger - Trombone player at Mitchell Intermediate :)
