Sometimes there are things that happen in our lives that are outside of our control. 15 years ago today, I held my mothers hand as she took her last breath. She was a role model to many of her nieces, the life of the party at many social gatherings and the epitome of strength and determination. I would not be the woman I am today without her guidance. My world changed forever that day. Mom, I love you and hope you have found the happiness that you so deserve.
