Sometimes we get bogged down in junk that doesnt matter. Sometimes - TopicsExpress

Sometimes we get bogged down in junk that doesnt matter. Sometimes we beat ourselves up for things that are beyond our control. Sometimes we forget that life is about whats happening in THIS moment - not the past moments. We forget to admire and inspire the people who make our days better - like the garbage man or the woman we pass on the road every day who we dont even know but always waves good morning; or, the UPS man. This morning I woke up categorizing my shortcomings for the weekend - the house is a wreck, I didnt spend enough time with the boys, I wasnt perfect in last nights choir presentation, I didnt finish Christmas shopping, I forgot to thank my husband for ensuring the house stayed standing and the kids didnt kill each other while I ran crazy all weekend, oh and I still havent gotten the oil changed, or that closet cleaned out, or that STINKING SHUTTER back up on the house... and the list goes on. Then, just when I was about to give myself an attitude pep talk - which is something I do when my usual super-bubble mood starts to deflate - I saw this video. Isnt it funny how God can use something as simple as a UPS commercial to remind us to practice what we preach? Its all about perspective. Happy Monday everyone. ♡
