Soooo, having a conversation with Joe about a new pond heater he purchased for the turtle. Its huge (as in approximately 24 long). The instructions say to mount it vertically—which wont work for our pond... Joe says he doesnt see any reason it cant be mounted horizontally at the bottom (it says its fully waterproof). To test it, hes going to put it in the kitchen sink and plug it in... Then, he says hes going to put his hand in the water.... Ummmmmmmm (as a precaution, he says hell wear rubber shoes). Life with a physicist...
