The NGEF Mess. That narrow NGEF road leading to a super-wide - TopicsExpress

The NGEF Mess. That narrow NGEF road leading to a super-wide junction at Old Madras Road coupled with sheer lack of Lane Discipline and incomplete and useless dividers is the problem. NOTHING can be done regarding the narrow road. ONLY three things can be done. 1. Build a Continuous Divider from Byappanahalli Railway Bridge (the other entrance of Metro Station) to NGEF Signal....and catch the people driving / riding on the wrong side, SEND THEM BACK and collect fine from them. (That fine should interest the concerned people.) 2. Modify the super-wide / unnecessarily wide junction (build islands) to FORCE people to form ONLY TWO LANES. One to turn LEFT and the other to RIGHT. Currently, even the (free) left turn is always blocked....which doesnt make sense at all. Because, if they keep the left turn open, there will be less number of vehicles waiting, which means a shorter queue and faster clearing. 3. Force people to Follow Lane Discipline. Left lane SHOULD turn LEFT. Right Lane SHOULD turn RIGHT. Any NGEF road users here? What do you think? Bangalore Traffic Police, What do you think?
