Sorry I havent posted anything all week. Keira has been doing a lot better the longer she goes without chemo. This weekend she was throwing up but in Sunday she started to turn around. She started eating and drinking Sunday evening and now she is trying to eat everything:) Today we went to the office and she got her counts taken. Her hemoglobin was a little low and since she WILL BE GOING TO SCHOOL tomorrow:) they went ahead and pumped her up with 1 unit of blood. She was so excited when the blood got brought up and we found out it was donated to her by someone! So thank u to those who have donated!! We are all very excited that Dr Rob told her she can go to school all this week:) Tonight we laid out all the kids clothes and got backpacks all ready for the first day of school tomorrow. Keira was so excited, then all of a sudden she started crying. I asked her what was wrong and she was so upset she could barely talk. After a little but she told me she was scared about going to school tomorrow. I asked her why and she said she didnt know, she just was scared. Lily and Caden tried to comfort her but it didnt seem to help very much. After we talked about her plan at school and I reassured her that I would be there she seemed to be a little better. Please pray for all of us tomorrow. Our youngest Caden is starting Kindergarten, Keira will be in 2nd, Lily 4th and Taran 7th. This will be an adjustment for all of us. Keira is very nervous kids will make fun of her or she might get hurt but I know everything will be just fine! Sorry this was so short but I have got to get some sleep for our big day tomorrow:)
