Sorry that Im just now giving an update it has been a very stressful day. Lonnie was in surgery for 4.5 hours but the surgery was a success. They safely removed the filter. I have been trying to comfort him since coming out of surgery. He has been in excruciating pain and it has been impossible for him to get comfortable. Everything about the Mayo Clinic has been wonderful except for the floor he is on now doing a very poor job of pain management but he and I still are staying positive because we know that received a blessing today. The support and prayers we have received from all of you has been amazing. Lonnie sends his love and gratitude to each and every one of you. I shall continue to keep everyone updated on each step of the process while we are here.
