Soul - Lutions: Here is what I was thinking. I am humbled today and my heart is heavy. The best thing to hold onto in life is each other. I believe tomorrow is another day and…. I believe in miracles. I have a dear friend whose child is laying in a hospital bed this morning very ill. It brings things into proper perspective. I love her, she is my sister. I love her children as much as my own and I believe God always knows best for each and every one of us, even when we don’t understand… God’s Children: We are all God’s children He knows us so well He will guard and protect us When we travel through What feels like… The Fires of Hell We are all God’s children We weren’t promised no pain Just a quiet peace When there is Thunder and Rain We are all God’s children He knows what is best He will provide solace and It’s a safe place to rest We are all God’s children From the day we are born We will pray for peace On this Sunday Morn We are all God’s children You will find comfort there This is my hope And always my prayer… I am thanking God for many things this week; my family, people I love and people I am learning to love. At least I know that I am trying and learning to appreciate those around me for who they are. It has been a wild week thus far. Have you found that to be the case too?? Many of us have found this to be true. We all are searching... So many things can change in a moment. Just pause for a second and be thankful and grateful for what we do have. We go to sleep on Saturday night and wake up Sunday morning to things completely different. When we are facing our trials, think about the quiet times, when everything around you is uneventful. “There is a peace in this.” Don’t get discouraged; easier said than done when that phone call comes or there is a knock at the door. You may be facing a new challenge or “perhaps an old one.” If you are mulling things over and over in your mind wondering “what if” I did it this way or did it that way, that will give you a headache! You can’t rewrite history; none of us can! You can’t take out that chapter and replace it with something else. Try and draw some kind of wisdom from it. Look for the beauty in it and then, instead of trying to rewrite what can’t be rewritten, write a new chapter that can incorporate what you have learned. Our friendships and loved ones should mean everything to us. If all is well then we are well. Someone once said, “there can be no deep disappointment where there is not deep love.” Just as a candle cannot burn without fire, we cannot live without a spiritual life or God.
