Soul sharing moment.....For the past few weeks Ive been stuck in a zone where my voice sounds like crap to me. Not horrible, but just barely passable. Been stuck on a plateau, where my mind and ear know that my voice can be(& has been) much better. Its like a MLB player in a hitting slump. Part of it is mental, part is not working hard enough. When Im in this kind of musical funk, I usually need something to inspire me to work harder and then things return to a happy place musically for me....The powerful passion & conviction in this Otis Rush song has helped inspire in the past, hope it does again....because I NEED to get back into the shed ASAP, Ive got work to do!
