Spains style works, they won 3 consecutive cups and changed the football world in doing so. but you need the right players to execute the game plan. the midfield of Sergio Busquets, Xavi, and Iniesta is 3 years outdated. Del Bosque was foolish in the players he called up. when you have 3 rising quality strikers in Soldado, Negredo, and llorente, yet opt for a woeful fernando torres and a non-fully fit diego costa you cant expect to have the quality to find goals in the final 3rd. not to mention they had david villa on the bench. Furthermore the midfielders on the bench of cesc fabregas, jesus navas (not sure if he was even called up), and santi cazorla were way more qualified to start. This one falls on Del Bosque.
