Spartans Parents, Here comes football!! Important notices: The league completely changed the schedule and released it last night at a league meeting. We are trying to get some changes to the schedule to better accommodate our home field permits and to keep more of our teams together at the same venue. Once it is finalized, we will release the entire schedule. All games this weekend will be away games. We are working out how we will get players to the games, details coming. Junior Pee Wee: Sunday 9/22 9:30 AM Vs. Lynvets at PALS OVAL, 88th Street and N. Conduit Blvd. in Queens. ("A" train to 88th street, walk 4 blocks South to the field.) Pee Wee: Saturday 9/21 6:30 PM Vs. Cobras at CORPORAL THOMPSON FIELD, Broadway and Henderson Ave. Staten Island, near Richmond Terrace. This is a night game, under the lights. (Staten Island Ferry to St George Terminal, S40 bus toward Arlington South, get off at Broadway and walk 2 blocks to the field). Bantam: Sunday 9/22 3:00 PM Vs. Bronx Knights at ALLERTON BALL FIELDS, E. 204th Street & Webster Avenue Bronx. ("D" train to Norwood - 205th Street, walk 6 blocks South on Bainbridge/204st to the field). Pee Wees and Jr. Peewees practice tomorrow at 6 PM. League certification 6PM Thursday at McCarren Pool. Players MUST BE PRESENT to certify! And must have submitted all paperwork.
