Spay and Neuter time. I prefer to not have many intact dogs for doing tours. Specially with a lot of other people driving my dogs, it makes it much easier. To find a good time to lay the dogs off, is tricky. We did a whole bunch of them before the glacier and now another batch before fall training commences. After returning from the glacier I give the team a few weeks off anyhow. This year that time might be longer than usual, as the Two Rivers Trails are very wet. Perfect timing to do a few snips . Doing the dogs at home also means they are in their known surrounding, waking up on the couch. The gang is in good hands with Kate Van Duine. Jordan and Kyle Dash function as vet techs.
