Speech-Language pathologists have to put their time in for education, too! They must receive a masters degree in communication disorders, complete a clinical fellowship, pass a national licensing test, comply with state regulatory standards, and attain competence with their national board. After they have become a ST, they must continue with educational courses through continuing education to maintain compliance on a regular basis.
