Spent all morning looking at my friends Facebook pages. Became more aware of all the interesting and fun things everyone else is doing without me. I have mixed feelings about all our virtual relationships thru social media. I feel a few emotions at once -more connected yes but at the same time the ache of missing those i love is increased; Im proud of how intelligent and funny my friends are but at the same time my own insufficiencies become more obvious as i flick from page to page. So many of you are really good at looking good. You have a natural sense of humor that really translates well on the page. Some people present themselves better online than in real life. My favorite people, though, are better in person. Pictures and quotes just arent enough and dont take the place of a proper hug and a real life chat with you my loved ones.
